The work culture at Asteros is one that is fun and relaxed yet productive and focussed on the end product. There are weekly team meetings which will set out your responsibilities and expectations for the week ahead and the team is completely transparent around that. Due to the smaller nature of the team, they are very centred around teamwork principles and each member has a part to play yet they are supported by everyone. In addition, if you have a particular interest or intrigue into a specific part of the role you will be supported in exploring that further by the business.

HOW HAVE YOU PROGRESSED THROUGHOUT THE BUSINESS?

As you progress and develop through the business you are given more independence and opportunities to engage in your own projects and interests within the scope of the business. Moreover, it is evident throughout your journey at Asteros the progression from shadowing and being delegated tasks to contributing heavily to calls which can’t necessarily be as clearly seen in larger corporations. From when you begin progression, if you are comfortable, will come fast and quickly you will see you have the availability and are encouraged to contribute to discussions. Towards the end of their programme experienced graduates can involve themselves in all aspects of the business such as the identification of the projects and even assisting in the bidding process. Additionally, due to it being a small team this feeling of being involved in all aspects of the business is emphasised on many levels.
